In March 2017, Jo won the 2017 English Hair & Beauty award for the Massage Therapist of the Year for the whole of England. We share some of the insights how Jo managed to achieve this amazing feat.

Jo completed her VTCT Level 3 in Beauty Therapy and Complementary Therapy as a second career which was the start of a road that would lead the discovery of her passion for massage therapy.

It was her determination to never stop learning that helped her to get where she is today. Over the years Jo has never stopped improving her massage skills. Mastering thai yoga massage, advanced deep tissue massage and herbal poultice massage in addition to all the standard treatments such as Deep Tissue, Swedish and Pregnancy massage. Supported by the Bali Health Lounge training programme, which Jo is part of as Senior Therapist, she has proven to clients that her knowledge and touch is unparalleled.

I had been sent a voucher for a massage as a treat from a friend. The lady who delivered my massage is called Jo and she was exceptionally good, very professional and courteous and I had a great massage. I love the offer of tea afterwards too. I have been back for a half hour facial again with Jo and again it didn’t disappoint.TripAdvisor Review by prguru2015 (Level 6 contributor)
